Newport is beautiful during the fall! September and October are two of the best months to visit since the summer crowds are gone, the weather is still great and ocean temps are still in the 60's. Most hotels even offer low off-season rates!

Dockage & Marina Services

Throughout the past almost 400 years of maritime history, Newport has maintained its access to the harbor for industry, visitors and residents alike. The city offers a multitude of marina and dockage facilities, as well as moorings and designated areas to drop anchor in the harbor while you're here. Launch services are available from anywhere in the harbor to bring you and your guests to town. And during the summer months, you can even find a floating raw bar delivering oysters and littlenecks on the halfshell to hungry boaters throughout Newport harbor.
