This wedding venue is located about 10 minutes from downtown Newport along the shores of the Sakonnet River overlooking Little Compton and Tiverton. A nice alternative to some of the more traditional venues along Ocean Drive and Belleveue Avenue.

For city, harbor and bridge views, this location can't be surpassed. Its sits on the tip of Goat Island, just a few hundred yards from downtown Newport, and offers a traditional setting for your reception and rehearsal dinner. With your guests staying on the premises, it also means you don't have to arrange for transportation to and from your reception since everything is located in the same building!

Other Venues for Your Wedding Reception

Sometimes getting a couple of miles away from the center of Newport can make a wedding even more special. Just over the Newport Bridge lies The Bay Voyage Inn, available for receptions, rehearsal dinners and even offers lodging so your guests don't have to drive after the party is over!

Located directly above the Carousel on Easton's (1st) Beach, this facility is operated seasonally by the City of Newport and can offer brides and grooms an alternative to the more expensive venues in town. Perfect for a casual wedding w/ outdoor barbeque on the ocean or think up your own theme for the occasion!

This former presidential summer cottage is available for wedding receptions and functions that are limited only by your imagination. The house is atop some of the highest ground in Newport, with ocean and harbor views everywhere. Larger weddings/events will want an outdoor tent set up on the grounds adjacent to the house. What a location!

If you really want to be sure you're as close to the water as possible, this venue is literally on the docks overlooking Newport Harbor and is surrounded by beautiful sail and motor yachts. In addition, this venue offers guests its 78' schooner Adirondack for harbor cruises, which can really add some Newport charm to your special day.

If a high-society Newport wedding is what you're after, look no further. Rosecliff was modeled after the Grand Trianon at Versailles. The ballroom, Newport's largest, is breathtaking, with floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and landscaped gardens. Weather permitting, the east wall opens to a canopied stone terrace. Black tie weddings never looked so good!
